This is just what you wished for! The hit Broadway musical Disney’s Aladdin, playing for you live at New Amsterdam Theatre in New York City on Thursday 2nd September 2021. “Pure genie-us!” says USA Today and, “Fabulous and extravagant!” Says The New York Times. Grasp your magic carpet and fly away to the Arabian city of Agrabah, a fully assorted city of aristocrats, merchants and cut-throats. We enter near the worthless common thief Aladdin, as he gets trapped in the evil plot by the Sultan's Grand Vizier, Jafar, who yearns to usurp the throne and steal away the wonderful Princess Jasmin for himself. Aladdin manages to escape from the Cave of Wonder with a teeny bit of help from a powerful Genie, then becomes the wealthy Prince Ali, to woo the wonderful Princess Jasmin. The impossible happens and the horrible Jafar gets his hands on the lamp and whoever holds the lamp controls the Genie! Jafar becomes the new exceptionally formidable sorcerer Sultan of Agrabah and whisks away the wonderful Princess Jasmin for himself! How will Aladdin beat the vile Grand vizier and rescue the gorgeous Princess Jasmin, or will this tale end in tears and annihilation for the city of Agrabah?
