The hit Broadway musical Disney’s Aladdin, playing for you live at New Amsterdam Theatre in New York City on Tuesday 31st May 2022. “Pure genie-us!” says USA Today and, “Fabulous and extravagant!” Says The New York Times. Get your magic carpet and take flight to the Arabian city of Agrabah, a fully diverse city of noblemen, merchants and thieves. We disembark near the useless street urchin Aladdin, as he gets caught up in the evil plan by the Sultan's Grand Vizier, Jafar, who desires to usurp the throne and steal away the magnificent Princess Jasmin for himself. Aladdin manages to escape from the Cave of Wonder with a tiny bit of help from a powerful Genie, then becomes the grand Prince Ali, to woo the wonderful Princess Jasmin. The inconceivable happens and the vile Jafar gets his hands on the lamp and whoever possesses the lamp controls the Genie! Jafar becomes the new extremely great sorcerer Sultan of Agrabah and whisks away the exquisite Princess Jasmin for himself! How will Aladdin overcome the wicked Grand vizier and save the wonderful Princess Jasmin, or will this yarn end in tears and obliteration for the city of Agrabah?
